You Think You Know a Gloom

If you've been watching me lately, you should know that my Ruby Gloom fan fiction You Think You Know a Gloom is finally out and available to read.
If you haven't ever watched Ruby Gloom, here's a great channel to get started. It has all the episodes. If not that you can check out Ruby's creator, Martin Hsu here on dA.
Now if you are a Ruby Gloom fan like myself you're probably wondering just what this fan fic's about. Let me not waste any more of your time:

It's been a good five to eight years since the events of the original Ruby Gloom series. Now in their preteens, the Gloom Crew are realizing the afterlife isn't all fun and games. There are job shifts to fill, social stigmas to learn and for once everyone realizes no one knows exactly what Ruby is or where she came from. She would have told her friends had a giant fire hand not erupted next to their house and dragged her and Doom into it's domain.
Faced with the reality of what she really is as well as some familiar ties she wish she didn't have, Ruby must now stay strong and talk to her literal demons if she ever wants to return to Gloomsville with her bright side intact.
Skull Boy meanwhile leads the rest of the Gloom crew on a mission to find Ruby, during which they uncover just how much their cheery friend has been keeping from them...

In short it introduces you to my version of Ruby's past and parents and explains things like
(why she is stuck at the Gloomsville manor with no family in sight
(where she got her red hair from
(the true irony of her even being a positive, helpful character at all

The title (and very idea for Ruby's history, if you somehow haven't picked up on it yet) comes from one of Martin Hsu's original illustrations from way back in the day.

I tried to get the look of the clip art down for this cover as well as experiment with things like shading. It's a better piece though knowing what my final designs for these guys look like in their preteen years. Oh well, I worked hard on this one and I like it all the same.

This final draft still has lots of grammar, spelling and paragraph spacing mistakes. I've yet to review all the essential writing information but I am going to be taking a basic English class this year to help me out. If you have any advice before hand as to what I need to improve on, it's very much appreciated but try to be constructive. Thnk you
